About the same time as when the covent was in use, the farm was a tiny bit diffrent!
The farm allowed their cows to graze upon the grassy banks of the yarra river. This proved to be a natural and free sourse used to feed the cows at the time. But as time went on, on the farm decided on farming fruit and vegtables instead of farming animals. That however didn't mean the farming of animals stopped completly.
